I studied Computer Science(Informatik), and as a subsidiary subject economics (BWL) at the
University of Hamburg, Starting in 1995, I paused in 1996 to do my civil service (Zivildienst) and contiued in 1997.
For my Computer Science Diploma I specilized in Information Security lectured by Prof.
Dr. Klaus Brunnstein. I also participated in the Reverse-Engeneering Project. To further specialize in the area of Information Security participated in the Master of Information
Security-Programme at the Royal
Holloway Universityof London.
I graduated from theone year programme in November 2001.
My Master's thesis was on the "Security
Requirements for Wireless Networks and their Satisfaction in IEEE
802.11b and Bluetooth" [
